Christina,

Just remember with laminate flooring, though they are more affordable and easier than hardwood floors to take care of, maybe people need to be reminded that if they spill any liquids on the floor they really need to make sure they wipe it up right away or it will seep in between the joints and warp the floors. I know this from first hand experience as one of my daughters (whom will never confess) spilt a bit of water (about the equivalent to 1 tablespoon) on the floor and didn't wipe it up and when I found it about 1/2 hour later and wiped it up, it had already set into the joints and warped that spot on the floor. So, just want those that are just getting into doing laminate flooring to be aware that this could happen.

Thanks

Try LamantorPlus products. They have a restoration product that you can put down right when the floors go in. It seals the grooves (cracks) so the moisture doesn't go in. And it stops the footprints. I used all three of their products. They're fantastic! They have an every day cleaner also that you just spray on and buff dry with a micro fiber mop. I tried vinegar but everytime I used vinegar, my kids would run across the floors and leave footprints. It drove me crazy. You can get these products on builderdepot.com and a few other web sites.
